Victor Bychkov
Born in 1956. Graduate of Repin Institute of Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad (1988). Member of Russian Artists’ Union since 1991.Distinguished Artist of Russia( 2010). In 2011, Bychkov was included in the Best People of Russia Encyclopedia.From 2012 – corresponding fellow with the Petrov Academy of Science and Art(Saint-Petersburg).The realistic art of Bychkov encompasses different genres: portrait, still-life, landscape, genre painting, icon painting and temple restoration. A copy of one of Bychkov’s signature works Invasionwas madeespecially for President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and is currently stored in the Moscow Kremlin.In 2006, a children’s art school was opened in the city of Kovrov with the active participation of Bychkov. Currently 350 children are enrolled in its program.Participant of numerous art shows since 1994. His piecescan be found in the museum of St.Petersburg’Academy of Arts, Vladimir-Suzdal Museum Reserve, galleries and private collections all around the world.
